We are gearing up for an awesome retreat! It’s exciting to see God moving and orchestrating this event to set it up to be a powerful weekend away! Are you ready??!!

Every morning I set time aside to pray and listen to God. I read my Bible and allow it to speak to my heart. This is a habit I started after I became a Christian. To be honest, when I accepted Christ, I really had no idea what I was supposed to do after that! I started a relationship and really knew very little about who God was or who he created me to be. I had friends around me that were further along in their faith. I noticed there was a difference in them. They seemed grounded. They seemed confidant in who they were and who they knew God to be.

Now hear me – there is nothing we can do to earn our salvation – we are saved only because of God’s grace. Through Jesus’ death on the cross that paid for our salvation we are made holy. But there is far more to this relationship than heaven – there is the here and now!

Knowing God, who he is, and learning to open ourselves up to him more and more is how we grow in our relationship with him. Clinging on to the truths of God’s Word helps me know God's character. It helps me see my identity in Christ and believe what He says about who I am in him.

Read the scripture below and let these truths sink deep into your soul today. Take time to write out a prayer and thank God for his unfailing love for you. Ask Him to reveal himself to you and draw you closer than you have ever been before. I am continually praying for you and the women you are inviting to retreat. God is already doing great things and I am excited to be a part of this journey with you!

Ephesians 2:4-7
4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

Psalm 73:26
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Philippians 4:13
13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Joshua 1:9
9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

Genesis 1:27
27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Romans 5:8
8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Jeremiah 31:3
3 Long ago the Lord said to Israel:
"I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself."

Matthew 28:20b
Be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
